6 Primary Points Common to All Reversal Pattern

The existence of a prior major trend is an important prerequisite for for any reversal pattern.
The first signal of an impending trend is often the breaking of an important trendline.
The larger the pattern the greater is the price movement potential.
Topping patterns are usually shorter in the duration and more volatile than bottoms.
Bottoms usually have similar price ranges and longer to build.
Volume is usually more important on the upside.

Personally, i do not like the way HangSeng is moving recently.
HangSeng doing lower high and lower low on the chart. Could mean that it is on short term retractment. STI have yet in retractment mood. Therefore trader on long side should be caution. Always set a trail set when the market turned against u especially when in profit. My view..
